Last Updated 5 days ago

  1. Go to https://myaccount.microsoft.com/ to manage your Savant Microsoft account
  2. After signing in with your company email address (e.g. yourusername@[savantgroup/centerforqa/excellmfginc].com), click on the “Security Info” tile
  3. You will see a page that lists any multifactor sign-in methods that you have already configured and an option to set up additional methods
  4. To add a new multifactor sign-in method, just click on the “+ Add sign-in method” option
    1. Select "Microsoft Authenticator" or "Alternate Phone", and follow the prompts
  5. We highly recommend the Microsoft Authenticator app, either using the standalone app (named "Microsoft Authenticator" in the IOS App Store or Google Play Store) or the Outlook mobile app that includes this functionality. All multifactor sign-in scenarios are listed below, to give you a better idea of real-world usage:
    1. Call to phone
    2. Text message to phone
    3. Notification through mobile app (using Microsoft Authenticator or Outlook)
      1. Select the app notification and type the numbers seen on the original device (that you're trying to sign into) into the app
    4. Verification code from mobile app (using Microsoft Authenticator or Outlook)
      1. Microsoft Authenticator: click into your Savant Microsoft account in the app to see a "One-time password code" listed; this is your verification code
      2. Outlook mobile app: select the user profile icon (circle) in the top left, then the settings gear in the bottom left. Find the "Accounts" option under the "General" section, select it, and select your Savant Microsoft account. Under the "Account Security" section, select "Sign-in requests" to view your one-time password code; this is your verification code
